The East Pointers are a band from the east coast of Canada, and they take pride in where they’re from. Blurring the lines between popular music and Celtic-Canadian traditional music, The East Pointers are devoted to creating songs that documents real life - tragedy and all. Their music takes you on a journey, building with excitement before transforming into a full-on dance party. Their scorching instrumental tunes yank the freewheeling, Celtic-goosed past into the present, defying anyone to sit still in their chair.

 “Traditional music has always been at the core of what we do as a band,” adds Jake Charron. “There’s something powerful about a style of music that has been passed on for generations around the world.”

• Chaffey’s Lock Community Hall is happy to welcome you on September 13th! Operated by the Chaffey’s Lock and Area Heritage Society, this hall was built by volunteers in 1932. It’s the site of concerts, community gatherings, and private events. Nestled in the heart of the community of Elgin, there’s even a coffee shop ready to serve you!
